Body Technician

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY


    To assist in the achievement of repairing each vehicle to its factory or customer specifications, and to deliver a consistent high-quality vehicle repair.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Thoroughly examine each vehicle
    • Inspect and identify damage related to the current collision.
    • Inspect and identify damage that is not related to the current collision.
    • Repair body to factory or customer specifications
    • Effectively and consistently use both the Tear Down Checklist & Reassembly Checklist for each repair.
    • Ability to safely and properly use power tools and welding equipment.
    • Use special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specification.
    • Additional duties as assigned by General Manager

Service Advisor (Estimator)

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY


    The Automotive Service Advisor is responsible for consulting with customers about their vehicle's repair and maintenance needs. They provide pricing estimates and communicate with the technicians to ensure correct repair and maintenance services are performed. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a working knowledge of automotive parts and services.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Write and upload estimates including photos for customers & insurance companies.
    • Estimate cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item on an estimate.
    • Responsible for negotiating supplements with insurance companies.
    • Maintain the CCC ONE data base, manage production from start to finish and liaise with customer service representative to ensure customers are well informed about repair status.
    • Work within DRP guidelines to assess and analyze repairs and determine feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts.
    • Execute consistent and exceptional customer service.
    • Successfully achieve performance goals to support operational standards.
    • Write estimates using various platforms: ADP, CCC and Mitchell.
    • Consistently achieves CSI goals set by company.
    • Order parts, assign techs, inspect vehicles throughout the repair process, and do a final inspection at the completion of the work for quality control.

Customer Service Representative (CSR)

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY


    To assist in the achievement of delivering a high-quality customer service experience during each part of the repair process, and to successfully communicate with vendors, shop managers, insurance companies, and technicians to ensure customer satisfaction.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Greet each customer in a professional manner within 3 seconds and answer phone by 2nd ring
    • Accurately input data and notes into CCC for all customers and use CCC to answer customer questions
    • Attend and participate in bi-weekly production meetings
    • Call and give each customer with vehicle on site bi-weekly repair status update
    • Hourly check for repair assignments (CCC, ERL, & Mitchell)
    • Follow up with previous walk-in estimates in order to create business opportunities
    • Filing, light cleaning, create and maintain organized workspace
    • Create Workfile in CCC. Include all info. name, address, ph. number, VIN, color, mileage, license plate, etc.
    • Take and deliver messages to the appropriate person or department
    • Purchase shop supplies
    • Weekly bank deposits
    • Create Repair Orders (RO’s)
    • Ensure that all RO’s have a signed authorization form in file. (Including Tow-ins)
    • Be able to engage in light conversation while customers wait on estimate and estimate results.
    • Maintain a light and courteous attitude and refer any problems to management or appropriate team leader.
    • Properly receive payments from customers and insurance companies
    • Additional duties as assigned by General Manager/Upper Management
    • Assist in maintaining Tier 1 Level Status with Allstate, Progressive, State Farm, etc.
    • Consistently placing in the top 10 of 60+ Body shops in Georgia

Parts Specialist

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY


    To assist in the achievement of repairing each vehicle in a timely matter, by ensuring that the correct parts are ordered, received, posted, and distributing to the correct technician, and to quickly establish when a credit is needed for a specific part, as well as be available to accurately write estimates when needed.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Oversee the flow of parts in the body shop
    • Return any unused and/or unneeded parts back to the vendor for a credit
    • Order parts for each vehicle repair via phone or electronically
    • Receive parts from vendors and tag parts
    • Tag parts using colored label, RO#, and type of vehicle
    • Post parts from Vendor Purchase Order into the specific RO#
    • Distribute Parts to technicians in a timely fashion
    • Be available to write estimates as a back-up to the General Manager
    • Additional duties as assigned by General Manager
