Information Collected Through Our Website
We collect information from you at various points on our website. We are the sole owner of the information collected on our website and will not sell or rent this information to others. We will only share this information with our affiliates, marketing partners, and other vendors contracted to do business on our behalf.
We collect and use two types of information on our website: personal information you directly provide to us and information you indirectly provide through cookies and log files.
Personal Information You Provide
You may choose to voluntarily provide personal information so that we can provide services or respond to information requests. If you complete certain forms or submit requests, you may be asked to provide information including, but not limited to, your full name, mailing address, phone number, email address, driver’s license number, VIN number, license plate number, insurance policy number, and vehicle photographs. We only collect information that you voluntarily provide via email, our website, or other direct contact.
As stated above, we do not sell or rent your information to third parties. We share your information with our affiliates, marketing partners, and other vendors contracted to do business on our behalf. When you request or authorize services through our website, we will use and share your personal information as necessary to provide those services. We will share your information in accordance with the Privacy Policy & Notice in effect at the time your information is collected.
Cookies & Log Files
Our website automatically records website usage information that we may analyze statistically to track operational issues, prevent fraud, and improve the effectiveness, security, and integrity of our website. We may use third-party providers to collect and record data regarding website use and performance during your visit (“Usage Data”), which may include pages viewed, search terms entered, IP address, and personal information submitted through the website.
Usage Data may be collected through cookies, log files, or other technology. We use this information to administer our website and improve the services we provide. We may share Usage Data in aggregated statistical form with third parties; such statistics will not include personal information. We may also use analytic software, including third-party software, to track and analyze user behavior on an aggregated and anonymized basis. We do not rent, sell, or trade Usage Data outside of Wren’s.
For the purpose of improving website design and user experience, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., to track site traffic and generate aggregate reports on how users interact with our website. Google Analytics uses session cookies through client-side JavaScript. Users who do not wish to have their visit information collected may opt out by installing a browser extension or disabling cookies in their browser settings. Opting out will not limit access to our website or its functionality.
A cookie is a piece of information sent by a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies do not identify you personally unless you choose to provide identifying information. Most cookies expire after a defined period of time.
We may not respond to “do not track” signals or similar browser-based mechanisms. You may also receive tracking mechanisms from other parties prior to visiting our websites, which may continue to track your activity. Such data is governed by the privacy policies of those third parties, and we do not control or receive data from those mechanisms.
Wren’s also maintains standard web logs that record information about website visitors, including:
• The Internet domain used to access the website
• Your IP address (which may be static or dynamic)
• The type of browser and operating system you use
• The date and time you visited the website
• The pages you viewed on the website
• The address of the website from which you linked
We use web log and clickstream data to improve website design and functionality. Web logs are recorded sequentially, and we generally do not attempt to identify individuals. However, we may use logs to identify individuals attempting to disrupt or damage the website. We may share log information with law enforcement if we believe a violation of law has occurred or may occur.
